Dr. Andrea Bretal is the Medical Director of Weston Medical Health & Wellness in Weston, Florida, bringing over 20 years of experience as a board-certified physician in internal medicine. In May 2020, she became a designated Civil Surgeon.

Originally from Argentina, Dr. Bretal earned her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. She completed her residencies in internal medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and Western Reserve Hospital in partnership with Northeast Ohio Medical University in Youngstown, Ohio.

Her passion for integrated medicine and obesity medicine stems from her personal journey with weight challenges. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional weight loss methods, she delved into the science of sustainable health and wellness.

Today, Dr Bretal specializes in holistic strategies, empowering her patients to achieve balance in body, mind, and soul. She collaborates with other holistic professionals to ensure her patients receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs.

Dr. Bretal is a passionate advocate for her patients’ health and well-being, striving to help them lead vibrant, fulfilling lives. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association, the Obesity Action Coalition, and the American Medical Association.
